We announce the death of Janie Marie Bailey of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 81. Janie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Clinton and Madie Marie Midkiff Booth; her son Bobby Wills; her husband Jerry W. Bailey Sr.; and her brothers, Johnny, Edward and Mike Booth.
She is survived by: her son Larry Wills; her stepchildren, Jerry Bailey, Jr. (Amy) and Angie Ewing (Kevin); her sister Barbara Gaddy; her grandchildren, Jonathan Wills, Ashley Williamson (Jeffrey), Caitlin McAllister (Levi), Josh Harris and Matthew Ewing; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Wills and Chase McAllister; and her pet Dallas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and other family members.
