He was predeceased by: his father Luther Jerry Russell; and his grandparents, Ray, Violet Richardson, Luther and Lena Russell.

He is survived by: his mother Linda Richardson Russell; his brother Jared Russell (Kim); and his nephew Ethan Russell. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
