He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shorter; his sons, Chad Shorter (Melanie) and Robert Shorter; his brothers, Doug Shorter, Sr. and Gary Shorter; his grandchildren, CJ Shorter (Jasmine) and Emily Steele (Devin); and his great grandchild Kenzie Steele. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
