He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Virginia Tech; his parents, Lawrence T. Nash, Sr. and Virginia (Layne); his wife Martha (Bower); his son Lawrence T. Nash III (Amy); his grandson Jacob Thomas; and his sister Jane Nash.

He fought bravely once again but wasn't able to conquer Covid-19.
