She was predeceased by: her father Billy Proffitt; and her siblings, Thomas Proffitt and Regina Huffman. She is survived by: her mother Millie Proffitt; her daughter Michelle Lemon (Adam); her brother Steve Proffitt; her grandchildren, Makayla Fox (Cole) and Seth Lemon; and her great grandchild Lincoln Fox. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
