With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Connie Wood of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carson and Marjorie Peters May; and her brother Herman May. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Ernest R. Wood; her children, Bobby Wood (Teresa), Lisa Akers (Gary) and Renee Boyd (Eric); her grandchildren, Jessica Arrington (Dustin), Nicole Morris (Chad), Josh Fox (Sarah) and Dani Wood (Kevin Nabor); her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Oakley, Lara, Taylor, Mavis and Riley; her sister Bonnie Turman; and her sister-in-law Judy May. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
