She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blankenship and Ruth Blankenship; her husband Joseph Plead "Ted" Greer; and her siblings, Cecil Blankenship, Edna Marie Blankenship Spangler, Charles "June" Blankenship and Mary Alice "Nadeen" Blankenship Proffit.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Caudill, Karen "Ginger" Greer, Valerie Varela (Brent), Susan Houk (Jim) and Joe Greer (Marie); her granddaughters, Taylor Daly (Mike), Caitlin Strickland (David), Braedon Houk (Matt) and Alexis Varela; and her great grandchildren, Parker Houk, Jack Daly and Caroline Strickland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Living Well Church of the Nazarene in Salem, Virginia, in Lora's honor.
