He was predeceased by: his father Walter B. Epperly; his wife Lucy Goodman Epperly; his brothers, Junior Epperly, Clyde Epperly, Ed Epperly, Wiley Epperly and Calvin Epperly; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Poff, Donna Zirkle, Gary Poff and Nick Goodman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Epperly Saul and Lisa Epperly Kormann; his grandchildren, Landon Saul, Logan Saul, Joseph Kormann IV and Caroline Kormann; his great grandchildren, Lucy Jo Kormann, Eleanor Rose Kormann, Bella Kormann, Bryson Kormann, Maelynn Kormann and Jeremiah Kormann; and his siblings-in-law, Jan, David Heath and John Zirkle. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
