It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Landes of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Landes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Lee Simpkins and Mary Elizabeth Whitley; her stepmother Zelda E. Simpkins; her daughter Traci Lynn Shatzer; and her sisters, Nancy Casper and Elsie Overton.

She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly Ann Hodges (Rusty); her grandchildren, Christopher Hodges (Lauren), Justin Hodges (Samantha Pack), Amber Plank and Leigha Shatzer; her siblings, Jesse Lee Simpkins and Debbie Lehmann; and her brother-in-law Cliff Hancock (Robin Kegley). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Regency Room (110 Shenandoah Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24016).
