She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Shortridge and Helen Shortridge of Grundy. She is survived by: her sister Alicia Mae Call of Lynchburg; her daughter Mary Michelle Rose of Roanoke; and her nephews, Gerald Reed Rose of Newton, N. C. and Robert Keith Rose of West Columbia, S. C..
