He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlie Alvin and Geneva Goad; and his sister Dorothy Goad Hall. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Hall Goad; his sons, Derrick A. Goad and Daniel M. Goad; and his siblings, Arlene Goad Plummer, Roger Goad and DelRay Goad.
