It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murel Winona Suggs (Salem, Virginia), who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Harmon and Eula Winesett Harmon; her husband Daniel N. Suggs; and her siblings, Gaynell Harmon, Stanley Harmon, Adrena Harmon Palmer, Henry Ralph Harmon and Fern Harmon Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Suggs of Salem; her brother Donald; her sister-in-law Joyce Harmon of Austinville; and her cousin Mary Reaser of Salem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Living Well Church, God's Pit Crew, or Good Samaritan Hospice.
