He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ayoob and Josephine Kitzmiller; and his brother Timothy Ayoob. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ayoob; his son Jonathan Ayoob; his granddaughters, Lillian, Molly and Lydia; and his siblings, Steve Ayoob (Stephanie), Brenda Ayoob, Elaine Williams and Danny Ayoob (Joyce).
