Caroline; her aunt Marie Young; her sister Joyce Simmons; and her cousins, Bernice Willis, Sharon Willis and Vera Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Henderson (Stacy Chase) and Shari Bonds (Jerome); her siblings, David Carter of Maryland, Lila Anderson, Frank Morris and Bonnie Smith (Larry) of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Tateona Henderson of Chapel Hill, NC, Jeremy Henderson of Roanoke, VA, Danesha, Dayzhané Bonds of Roanoke, VA, Thomas Chase of Roanoke, VA, Anaiya and Amilya Henderson of Franklin County; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Preston of Roanoke, VA, Javion Henderson, Amir Crowder of Chapel Hill, NC, Kinnidi Starkey, Ahlani and Alijan Chase; her daughter Tomeka Greene of Orlando, FL; and her friends, Della Foreman of San Diego, CA, Teresa Sherman of Salem, VA and Gwen Ghee of Roanoke, VA.. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the BIG Hill Baptist Church (5380 W Main St, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
