She was predeceased by: her father George Preston Hayes Sr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Brown (Dot), Rose Marie Goode, Shirley Hill, Leona of Washington, Robert Hayes (Rocky) and George Hayes Jr. (Gabby).
She is survived by: her son Sedrick Charles Hayes (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Zella Trent, Corra Leigh and Preston Rush; and her brother David Hayes (Veronica) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
