She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil S. Johnson, Jr.; her son Dan; her parents, Lottie Pearl and Herby Walton Fitzgerald Sr.; her brothers, Buell, Lemuel, Bill, Herby Jr. and Warren; and her nephews, Fitz and Steve.
She is survived by: her brother Ernie (Helen Jean); her children, Mike (Connie), Paul and Doris (Dave); her grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Bryan (Helen) and Devon (Michael); her great grandchildren, Eleanor Rose, May, Paul, Hailey and Kevin; her nieces and nephews, Pat (Wendell), Terry, Brad (Susan), Linda (Bill), Kevan (Jayne), Laurie (Bobby), Dave (Barbara), Andy (Lorrie), Mark (Nancy) and Tim (Tammy); her cousin Doris Hayes; her sister-in-law Anne; and her pets, Ella, Buck, Reid and Jams.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Peggy, donations may be made to the Salem Baptist Church Missions Fund or Good Samaritan Hospice.
