She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Gob" Garrett; her parents, Daniel Palmer and Onie Palmer; her sister Sue Wise (Roy); her foster daughter Laura Goodpasture; her granddaughter Denise Goodpasture; her daughter-in-law Karen Garrett; her brother Sonny Palmer; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Hodges and Tommy Carroll.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Garrett (Judy) and Susan Mennel (John); her grandchildren, Martha Wade, John Garrett, Dana Garrett, Kerry, Cynthia Hurley, Bill, Lori Goodpasture, Samantha, Ken Barney, Karen Goodpasture, Daniel "Shep", Christine Garrett, Kris Judd, Jay, Amanda Mennel, Katie and Brett Gleason; her great grandchildren, Justin Wade, Jeremy Wade, Kelsey Kingery, Jennifer Garrett, Nikki Phelps, Lucas Barney of Meredith Barney, J. T, Lizzie Judd, Michael Ferguson, Ellie Gleason, Ava Gleason, Beckett Gleason, London Gleason, Kai Gleason, Sawyer Gleason and Tyler Garrett; and her great great grandchildren, A'Darius Pitt and Kairi Kingery.
