He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Predmore and Dorothy Louise Slater; his aunt Helen Mackerley; and his grandparents, Evelyn M. Babcock and Louis A. Babcock.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond "RJ" Dean of North Carolina, Brandon Meister of North Carolina, Jamie Reddington of North Carolina, Samantha Meister of North Carolina, Susan Meister of North Carolina, Kaitlyn Salmieri of North Carolina and Hailey Babcock Lambert of Sussex; his siblings, Kenneth E. Slater, Jr. of West Virginia, Helen Wittig (late John) of Princeton, Sandra Slater of Vestal, Hope Howey (Carl, Jr.) and Jennifer Barretto of Vernon; and his aunts, Sandra Webb (Bill) of Franklin and Brenda Toth (late Paul) of Sussex. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
