It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rex William Mook of Salem, Virginia, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanley Mook and Thelma Durbin Mook; and his brothers, Jim Mook and Lee Mook. He is survived by: his wife Kay Snead Mook; his daughter Alisa Mook Burns; his son-in-law Chris Burns; his daughter Emily Mook; his grandchildren, Camden Burns and Violet Burns; and his brother Dan Mook. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
