He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard T. Phlegar and Ruby McDaniel Phlegar. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Price Phlegar; his children, Lisa Cain (Gregory), Richard Gregory Phlegar and Alan Christopher Phlegar (Adrianne); his grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan (Kevin), Emma, Hunter, Augustus and Evelyn; and his sister Montra Phlegar Clements (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
