He was predeceased by: his parents, L. E. Dillon and Irene Jewel Dillon (Perdue). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jane Dillon (Meredith); his children, Veronica McNeil (Rick), Anthony Glen Dillon, Tabatha Dillon-Fitzgerald (Larry), Glenett Marie Sweeney (Brian) and Monica Jill Stephenson; his sister Sally Ann Hungate (Michael); and his grandchildren, Joseph Benton Terry, Samson Glen Terry, Caitlyn Lee Hall (Dalton), Courtney Lyssa Stultz, Connor Lucas Stultz, Dallas Dillon and Alyiah Dillon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his loving K-9 companion.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
