He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Melvin Sr. and Ruby Jean Jones Silcott; and his siblings, Ronnie Eugene Silcott and Wanda Jean Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lee Silcott; his sons, Andy William and Henry Arild; and his brothers, MJ Silcott (Bobby) and Charles Silcott Jr. (Tracy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153).
The family is grateful for the care provided by Sheila S Strauss Hospice House of Roanoke; in lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to that facility.
