He is survived by: his children, Loretta LaPrade, Matthew Laprade, Sr. and Nicole Wellons; his brother Curtis LaPrade (Veldia); his grandchildren, Jazmynn, Jordan, Landon, Alexander, Matthew, Jr., Bethany, Nehemiah and Kendra; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Mila and Indica; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy LaPrade and Tressa Lynn Cooper Wilson.
