The memory of Ruth Marion VanCleave of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell A. Voorhees and Beatrice Maude (McClung); her siblings, Robert, Ronald, Russell, Richard and Staunton; her daughter Naomi Ruth VanCleave; and her grandson Justin VanCleave.
She is survived by: her children, Benita Rae VanCleave of Salem, VA and Barry L. VanCleave (Sheree); and her grandsons, Zachary, Brenden and Joshua of Oxford, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
