She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore "Teddy" Epperly; and her parents, Sherman Ralph Sisson and Georgia Mae James Sisson. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Ferguson (Bill) and Terry Epperly (Rowena); her siblings, Dick Sisson (Colleen), Pat Williford and Sharon West (John); her grandchildren, Jennifer Alleven (Derrick), Zachary Trolier, Justin Epperly (Diana) and Natalie Trolier; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Alleven, Georgia Alleven and Harper Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the East Hill Cemetery (730 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Salem Church of Christ Thailand Mission.
