It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Price of Salem, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert M. Goodwin and Callie Hickson Goodwin; and her siblings, Wyoma Rock, Carolyn Anderson, Arabelle Goodwin, Lynwood Goodwin and Jack Goodwin.
She is survived by: her husband Russell E. Price; her children, Russell "Russ" Price, Jr. (Sandra), Anne P. Price (Kenny) of Ironto and Amy P. Nance (Shane) of Salem; her grandchildren, Andre'Hardy, Amber Hardy and Adrianna Nance; her brother Bill Goodwin (Penny); her siblings-in-law, H. D. Price (Ginny) of Colorado and Doris Hill of North Carolina; and her pet Doris Hill of North Carolina. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
