Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Steven leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lakes Marshall and L. Julian Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Jayne Marshall Richlak (Michael) and Owen Lawrence Marshall; and his granddaughters, Maeve and Isla.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (103 N Broad St, Salem, VA 24153). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Ministry at Salem Baptist Church or any charity of your choice.
