He is survived by: the mother of his children Cornelia Underwood; his children, Melissa Tunstall (Brian) and William "Brad" Underwood (Custodial); his nieces and nephews, Byron Roop, Stephanie Bryant and Jason Ruff; his grandchildren, Cameron Carper (Ashley Higgins) and Caitlin Carper Lankford (Jon); his nephew Patrick Carper (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Marlee Carper, David Carper, Rebekah Wilson, Myiah Wilson, Noah Wilson, Nikayah Jackson, Jon Lankford, Jr., Jasmine Lankford and Jenaveve Lankford; his sister Sandra U. Watson; his stepsisters, Kathryn Lee, Joyce Lewis (Dwayne) and Betty Jo Watts (Jamie); and his mother-in-law Mildred G. Ruff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
