He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Bandy Deweese; his parents, Laymond Deweese and Mavis Deweese of Elliston Va; and his brothers, Wayne Deweese, Roger Deweese and Mike Deweese.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Paul Bandy; his friend Bob Hopkins (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Sheryl Deweese. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or to the St. Jude Children's Research.
