He is survived by: his wife Patricia Terry Reed; his children, Hope Elizabeth Smith, Kelly Faye Reed, Linda Smith McCauly (Chip) and David L. Smith; his brothers, Michael Reed (Frances), Stephen Reed (Deet) and Jonathan Reed; his grandchildren, Katelynn Smith (Sey), Brianna Smith, Mackenzie Smith and Malachi Reed; his sister-in-law Janet Terry Dowdy; and his nieces and nephews, Zachary Reed, Marty Dowdy (Ann), Keith Ty Dowdy (Tracey), Rebecca Hansford, Catherine Reed and Terry Dowdy.
