He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elmer Nienke and Annie Beckner Nienke Simmons; and his former wife Nell Eller. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Walls; his children, Rev. Kenneth Wayne Nienke (Beth) and Kathleen Nienke Laine (Jamie) of Scottsburg, VA; his brother Roy Nienke of Charlotte, NC; his sister-in-law Dorothy Clay Eller (Dot) of Salem; his stepchildren, Cathy Owen (Larry) and Michael Walls; his grandchildren, Rebekah Nienke Quirin (Derrick), Christopher (Olivia Nienke), Jake Nienke, Ashley Owen Frazier (John Robert), Jessica Owen, Colton (Katelin Walls) and Hunter Walls; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Jane (Ellie), Roan Derrick, Baby Quirin, William Newton Nienke (Newt) and Baby Frazier.
