He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy and Aileen Elizabeth Dunbar Eggleston. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Mellard (Keith) of Gap Mills, WV; and his siblings, Charlene Nicholas (Bill) of Lewisburg, Rodney Eggleston (Christina) of Gap Mills and Kenneth Eggleston (Kimberly) of Sinks Grove. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home (715 Sweet Springs Valley Rd, Union, WV 24983). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
