William Ivy Clapp Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2024, at the age of 91, William Ivy Clapp of Salem, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Clapp and Ivy P. Williamson; and his sister Vina C. Kerns. He is survived by: his wife Carol Clapp; his daughters, Vickie Bowen (Scott Bowen) of Raleigh, NC, Janice Clark (Michael Clark) of Richmond, VA and Teresa Clapp of Salem, VA; his granddaughter Melissa Hunter (Zach Hunter); his great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Cora and Cayman Hunter of Powhatan, VA; his grandson Jensen Clark (Colleen Marshall) of Earlysville, VA; and his sister Colleen Durham (Steve Coltrane) of Trinity, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
