He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Surber and Helen Surber; his sisters, Sandy Peery, Jean Ella Talbert and Darlene Paul; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Lois Smith; his brothers-in-law, Fred Paul and C. W. Talbert; and his nephew Kem Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Surber (Tamsyn), Randy Surber (Sarah), Kris Tolbert, Kevin Tolbert (Brooke) and Misti Greer; his grandchildren, Hayley, Chloe, Wade, Decklan, Calum, Connor, Colin, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Addison, Cooper William, Marra and Stephen; his brothers-in-law, Michael Smith and Frank Smith (Debi); and his sibling's children, Tracie Coe, Amy Frye, Chuck Talbert, Tina Peery, Bobby Todd Peery, Graham Ellen Nipper, Lisa Orm, Staci Smith-Lester, Brandon Smith and Johnna Deans. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; three great-great, nieces and nephews; his church family.
