He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Emmett (Tebo) and Florence Ellen Mullins Lewis; his siblings, Golda Kelley (Clyde), Jeannette Mullins (Chester), Mary Nell Lewis and Ira Joe Lewis; his son-in-law Ray Rolen; his parents-in-law, Audrey Taylor Montgomery and Ralph Montgomery; and his nephew Richard Lee Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burgess Lewis; his daughter Laura Lewis Rolen; his grandson Jordan Rolen; his siblings-in-law, Jim, Vicki Montgomery, Bob, Jo Burgess, Myra Jones and Tanya Burgess Miller; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Lewis Thompson (Malcolm), Amy Lewis, Rebecca Montgomery Arnold (David), Mary Lou Mullins Kilgore, Tim Mullins (Stacey), Kyle Burgess, Kendall Burgess Florer (Michael), Reva Murphy (Charles), David Kelley, Patsy Kelley Browning, Connie Burgess Baisey, Jackie Burgess Spear, Bobby Burgess, Brynn Miller and Zeb Miller; and his godson Brandon Nipper.
