He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Routh and Virginia Mary Chapman Routh; his sons, David and Steve Routh; his grandson Seth Kestner; and his sister Lois Ellis.

He is survived by: his sons, Woody Routh and Rob Routh; his siblings, Doug Routh, Gordon Routh (Regina) and Zell Nutter; his grandchildren, Tori Jade Routh Combs (Jeremy), Karmyn Routh and Caleb Routh; his great grandchild Nalani Faye Combs; and his daughter-in-law Linda Routh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home Va Cemetery (Mountain Home, TN 37684).
