He was predeceased by : his mother Patsy Thomas. He is survived by : his father John Floyd Thomas, Sr.; his brother Tim Thomas; and his cousins, Jerry Cannon, Jr. and Karen Lou Holmes. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
