Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Archie E. "Juke" Griffey; her son Gary Eugene Griffey; and her parents, Robert Hayden and Mamie Hayden. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Buchanan (David), Carl Griffey (Missy), Robin Lloyd (Bobby), Julie Prater (Eric), Carol Griffey and Archie S. Griffey (Wanda); her daughter-in-law Sharon Griffey; her sisters, Bertha Saltz and Carolyn Thomas; and her sister-in-law Ruth Cregger. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her church family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the same location.
