She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Chapman; and her brother Randy Hartzog. She is survived by: her husband Chris Walton; her mother Dollie Carter; her stepfather Robert Carter; her siblings, Tammy Helton (Rick), Tom Chapman (Amy), Bobby Chapman (Lisa), Mark Hartzog (Anita) and Richard Hartzog (Michelle); her nieces and nephews, Bryce Chapman, Ben Chapman, Dalton Chapman (Adrian), Sarah Chapman, Aiden Chapman, Allie Cooper and Abby Lawson; and her close friends, Bob Surber, Deborah Colley and Deena Gilliam.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene (1007 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 369, Saltville, VA 24370.
