He is survived by: his children, Walter Grant Barrett, Jr., Bethany of Rich Valley, Charles Jeffrey Barrett (Shannon), Judith Ann Barger (James), Dianna Marie Metz (Ellis) and Brenda Lee Barrett of Rich Valley; his siblings, Susan Wilson, Danny of Piney Creek, N. C., Jeff Barrett, Debbie of Saltville, Cheryl Harris and Kenny of Piney Creek, N. C.; his grandchildren, Justin Taylor, Ethan Medlin, Jamie Barger, Kevin Barrett and Dennis Barrett; his close friends, Curt, Harry, Tim, Jackie and Jerry; and his pet Pixie Pearl. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
