He is survived by: his wife Margaret Minton; his daughter Holly Minton; his siblings, David "Buddy" Minton, Ginger Mortimer (Albert), Evelyn Minton, Rose Minton and Rhonda Minton; his grandchildren, Samantha Havens (Channing) and Kaleb Havens; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Tanner and Corbin "Kash" Russell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at the Elizabeth Cemetery.
