She was predeceased by: her husband Peter David Batley; and her sister Charlotte. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Bill), Donald (Laurie Ann), Peter Kevin (Trisha) and Diane (Tim); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Sarah, Claire, Trevor, Levi and Otto; her great grandchild Avyan; her siblings, Bernard (Loretta), Eleanor (Wade), Earline (Charles), Charles (Loretta) and Carolyn; and her uncle John. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zoar Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1010, Deltaville, VA 23043 or to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, VA 23043.
