She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Lewis and Lee Lewis; her husband Charles E. Clark; her daughter Melody Faith Walden; and her sisters, Ethel Mae Hudson (White) and Ida Jane Musick.

She is survived by: her children, Virginia Clark (Anne) of Chesterfield, Edward Clark (Joann) of Deltaville, Wanda Smith (Dennis) of Amelia, Keith Clark of North Carolina, Sylvia Davis of Hartfield and Cheryl Pierce (Carl) of West Point; her sister Rose L. Leatherwood of Newport News; and her grandsons, Louis Clark, Lance Clark of Lee Clark, C. J, Ray Harrell, Zach Davis and Stephen Davis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
