With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ray Dunlevy (Saluda, Virginia), born in Deltaville, Virginia, who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Wesley Dunlevy Sr.; her parents, John Washington Weston and Mollie Mason Weston; and her sister Annette Laird. She is survived by: her siblings, Herman Weston, Laura French, Julia Haynes, Effie Ward and Barbara Sibley; her children, Charles Wesley Dunlevy, Jr. (Bunny), Keith Harding Dunlevy (Denise) and Sheila Ray Thacker (Robert); and her grandchildren, Major Charles Dale Dunlevy, Judson Bryce Dunlevy (Caitlin), Donncuan Leo Dunlevy (Kelsey), Lauren Sheal Wells (Jonathan), Eugene Harding Dunlevy (Catherine), Julian Wesley Thacker (Kaki Sheffield), Ariana, Lorien, Brooklyn, Hayden, Laken, Oaktyn, Charlie, Finnegann, Lochlann, Merrick, Ava, Emma, Eden, Adalyn and Elena.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home (15 C F Edwards Ln, Saluda, VA 23149). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Philippi Christian Church (17276 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville, VA 23043).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Philippi Christian Church, the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department and the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad.
