He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Louise Steele; his daughter Rachel Steiner; his grandchildren, Michael Steele, Jacklyn Montgomery and Ace Steiner; his son Dennis Steele (Pamela); his grandchildren, Phillip Steele, Joshua Steele (Stephanie) and Katie Martos (Christian); his daughter Ashley Steele Nutley (Bob); his grandsons, Alex and Jack Nutley (Jules); his daughter Ashlyn Jinnette; his granddaughters, Tabitha Godsey (Fred) and Amber Jinnette (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Steele Martin, Amelia, Suzanna, Anthony Steele, Thomas Steele, Jackson, Ethan, Christopher Martos and Tatum Steele.
