He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Golding Stevens; his son Curtis Stevens, Jr.; and his grandson Kenneth "Kenny" Gooch, II. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Stevens Stafford; his children, Jennifer Gooch, Kathleen Griffin (Tony), James Stevens (Jane) and Craig Stevens (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Melonie Alligood (Chad), Daniel Gooch (Devon), Anthony Curtis Griffin, Victoria Stevens and Emily Stevens. He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren.
