He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Wootton; and his daughter Cheryl Glaspie. He is survived by: his daughter Evelyn W. Green (Michael Green); his son-in-law John Glaspie; his grandson Colby Cridlin (Billie Cridlin); and his great grandchildren, Daniel Cridlin and Joy Lynne Cridlin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 1542 Anderson Hwy, Cumberland, VA 23040.
