He is survived by: his son Wayne Lee Yates, Jr. (Margo); his stepdaughter Laurie Ransom (Akram); his sisters, Jackie Wells (Jerry) and Tina Stone (Chris); and his pets, Kimber and Trevor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
