She was predeceased by : her husband Delbert Reed; her parents, Lena Davis of Virginia and Stewart B. Hall Sr. of New Church; her siblings, Edward Thomas Byrd Jr. of Middleburg, FL. and Rose B. Abrams of Plymouth, MA; her half-brother Stewart B. Hall (Peatie) of New Church, VA; and her former life partner Charles Raymond Wood of Pocomoke, MD..

She is survived by : her children, Lena May Wood of Sanford, VA, Charles Grant Wood (Lisa) of Pocomoke City, MD and Mary Ann Chelton (Mike) of Melfa, VA; her granddaughter Betsy Winslow (Cory); her great grandchild Walter of Luray, VA; her granddaughter Heather Taylor; her great grandchild Travis Williams of Pocomoke City, MD; her grandson Grant Wood of Snow Hill, MD; her sister Mary Harrison (Wayne) of Pocomoke City, MD.; and her grandson Blake Chelton. She is also survived by several other great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
