As we bid Gloria Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gloria Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry Lambert and Evelyn Pulliam Lambert; her daughter Monica Goode Watts; and her brother Winfred Lambert. She is survived by: her sons, Nathaniel Goode of Chandler, AZ and Jonathan Goode (Terredell) of Washington, DC; and her brothers, Steve Anthony Lambert (Adeline) of Quinton, VA and Charles Henry Lambert Jr. (Josephine) of Red Oak, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (125 Shiloh Church Rd, Drakes Branch, VA 23937).
